As Creative Director of New Balance’s Made in USA line, Teddy Santis has well and truly made his mark on the sneaker scene. After joining the Boston-based brand thanks to a series of successful Aimé Leon Dore collections over the years, the creative has made it his mission to breathe new life into New Balance’s iconic 990 silhouettes.

Ruby-colored flair isn’t new to the Boston-based institution’s premium pig suede-covered sneakers, but Santis’ proposition couples the eye-catching hue with muted greys and reworked branding.. Here, ruby red overlays wrap their way around a base of burgundy mesh, whilst pops of grey peep out as an accent colour. The brand’s signature ‘N’ logo and classic 990v3 tongue also appear in a silvery shade, and a white and grey ENCAP sole unit rounds off the design.
