Air Jordan 5 Olive

This installment was originally launched as part of Jordan Brand’s lifestyle series (LS) and was accompanied by matching apparel. It’s one of the earliest non-original Air Jordan 5 colorways and will be reincarnated with all of its signature details.

The 2024 version consists of an Olive suede upper with tonal shades of Green on the mesh midfoot panel and eyestays. Contrast comes by way of the Bright Orange accents on the inner lining, Jumpman logos on the tongues and heels, as well as on the shark tooth graphic on the midsole. Laces and eyestays are done up to match while the tongues are equipped with 3M backdrops and pops of orange atop its Jumpman insignias and interior linings. Underneath all of that rests drab olive green midsole pieces that are complemented by orange spikes and faint gray speckle details.

How comfortable are Air Jordan 5s?

On a scale of 1-10, I would rate the Jordan 5, 7.5 in terms of comfort. The Jordan 5 silhouette may be heavy, but they’re extremely soft inside, and the tongue is thick and cushiony. For this reason, I would recommend them for those long days when you’re constantly on your feet.

How do you care for Air Jordan 5s?

The Air Jordan 5 is made from nubuck leather; to keep them clean, I spray them with a sneaker protector before wearing them outside. After wearing them, I remove any dirt using a nubuck brush and return them to their original box, mainly so they don’t get dusty.
